Fathers & Non-Breastfeeding Partners are an essential support in the continued success of breastfeeding. Partnering with the breastfeeding mother/partner to create a plan will help in adjusting to realities and expectations during the fourth trimester. Here are some tips to establish a good start.
Breastfeeding Support Team: Often come in a variety of forms and can include friends, neighbors, co-workers, grandparents, siblings and a host of other supporters. These teams offer a unique capacity to support breastfeeding mom’s/partners in shifts that can extend for weeks. Sharing the load can give supporters who have limited time an opportunity to offer small size support that helps in a very big way.

If you are up for the challenge, please reach out.
